Destiny’s Bungie raises $1.026 million to aid victims of the Nepal earthquake

Destiny’s Bungie has advised it has raised a total of $1.026 million USD in support of aid for victims of the Nepal earthquake.

Bungie handed the full amount over to charity Direct Relief recently.

The funds were raised via sales of a limited edition t-shirt alongside two exclusive in-game items: a red and blue shader and emblem.

Both Bungie Foundation and Destiny‘s publisher Activision contributed $50,000 USD each, the remainder of funds raised came from the generosity of gamers. Well done, everyone!
