Destiny: Trials of Osiris is on hold this weekend due to a nasty heavy ammo bug

Destiny‘s Trials of Osiris competitive multiplayer event will not be held this weekend due to a nasty heavy ammo bug that’s currently being exploited.

As explained by Bungie, the bug revolves around a King’s Fall Raid weapon with the Cocoon perk and a special or heavy weapon with the Clown Cartridge perk. Swapping between those two weapons means Guardians can generate insane amounts of heavy ammo.

“When we learned that some Guardians had discovered a way to earn unlimited rockets, we knew it was time for a bug hunt,” Bungie’s David ‘DeeJ’ Dague wrote.

“Rather than punish players for playing the game in a way we didn’t predict, we’ve been waging an investigation into our code. These things happen, so please don’t panic. We’re on the case — and we’ve slayed more dreaded bugs than these.”
