Destiny should be at 1080p for its Xbox One launch; not for beta

Xbox One’s Destiny beta won’t be running in 1080p, but Bungie yesterday confirmed that the full retail game should.

“We are aiming for 1080p on all platforms,” Bungie Community Manager David Dague said to IGN in a recent video.

Yes, yes — the PlayStation 4 beta and retail game are both confirmed at 1080p already. You win this round, fanboys!

Destiny launches on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on 9 September. The game’s PlayStation betas begin today.
