Destiny: “Rise of Iron”: Plaguelands Patrol icons — Kill, Quarantine, Assassination and more — explained

Destiny‘s “Rise of Iron” expansion brings new quests, and some of those revolve around completing specific Patrol mission types in The Plaguelands.

Lucky for you, we’re explaining how to find those specific Patrol missions. Read on!

Kill missions

If you need a Kill mission, look for an icon with a diamond and four smaller triangles. These missions will have you kill a certain amount of enemies. These are part of the “Plaguelander” quest.

Specific Kill missions

These missions are different from the Kill missions in that they have you target a specific type of enemy. Look for a large triangle icon.

Survey missions

These will have you travelling to a specific point and waiting around until a scan has been completed. Look for a compass icon.

Quarantine missions

These will have you kill a specific, Elite target, then a couple waves of lesser, grunt enemies. You usually get a flaming axe to help with the task. Look for a Siva icon (it looks like an “N”). These are part of the “Plaguelander” quest.
