Destiny: “Rise of Iron”: Here’s how to get the Exotic Khvostov 7G

Guardians, do you remember your first gun? It’s time to make it relevant again.

In the same vein as the Exotic Iron Gjallarhorn, there’s also an Exotic Khvostov 7G to be had within Destiny‘s new “Rise of Iron” expansion.

First, here’s how to get the quest for the Exotic:

  • If you’ve kept the original Khvostov from the very start of Destiny, perfect! Dismantle it to get the Khvostov 7G schematic and be on your way.
  • If you haven’t kept the original gun, you’re going to have to hunt a Hive Brood Mother whilst on Patrol in the Plaguelands. That’ll drop a mini-quest that’ll direct you to the large Fallen Ketch right near where we all first started Destiny. Kill an Elite boss there and you’ll be able to open a chest with the schematic. If you need help getting to the Ketch, use this video:

  • Once you’ve the schematic, you’ll need to head to Shiro-4 at Felwinter Peak to grab and accept the quest.

Alrighty. The quest then calls for 10 manual pages and 3 parts.

Once you’ve everything you need, build that new (old) gun.

Destiny‘s “Rise of Iron” expansion is available now on Xbox One and PS4.
