Destiny: PvP changes via the April update, detailed

Bungie’s final Destiny April update livestream detailed a swath of changes to PvP modes.

In Trials of Osiris, two seconds have been added to players’ revive timers. It’ll take seven seconds to be revived when you’re first downed, fourteen seconds the next, and so on.

Over in the Iron Banner, Legendary Engrams will be removed in favour of Iron Banner-specific loot drops. There will guaranteed Artifact and Ghost drops starting at Light level 320 with Rank 3 drops. Rank 5 drops will contain goods at Light 335.

In PvP matches, Special ammo will spawn much later than in the current game. It’ll take three minutes to pop in via crates and will respawn about two minutes after that. Additionally, sniper rifles have been nerfed so they’ll remain efficient as a long-range weapon, but not so much as a medium-ranged ones.

There are more changes as part of the update, of course, and you can learn about them all by watching the livestream, above.
