Destiny: Light level increase, new and amended Strikes, new Prison of Elders Challenge

Bungie has detailed some upcoming updates to Destiny.

Live from 12 April, Destiny will support a Light level cap increase from 320 to 335.

A new addition to the Prison of Elders, called Challenge of the Elders, basically sounds like a PvE version of the Trials of Osiris. The Challenge of the Elders will support matchmaking and resets weekly, offering fireteams the chance for rewards based off points scored during matches.

A new Strike will put Guardians up against a new Taken enemy named Malak, pictured above. Moreover, the Archon Priest Strike will be amended to include a bunch of Taken. Neat, eh?

Bungie will detail more of April’s update in the coming days.
