Destiny gets public chat beta this week, Iron Banner soon

Bungie’s Deej took to the Bungie Weekly Update to detail upcoming changes to Destiny, including a public chat beta and the reintroduction of a tweaked Iron Banner.

The matchmaking voice chat beta will be opt-in, and allows for gamers to chat outside PvP and Strike matchmaking. You can toggle between public chat and your own Fireteam chat as well.

Deej also said that the Iron Banner was soon to return to Destiny, and would actually take player levels and gear into account.
