The expansion will bring the following new functionality to the (failing) title.
Destiny 2 Warmind expansion content

- Multi-emote
- Exotic weapon Masterworks
- Seasonal vendor progression
- Exotic weapon sandbox changes

Updated Destiny 2 content roadmap
A later update, due in the Australian winter, will bring a new seasonal event, Faction Rally improvements, Bounties, PC Clan chat and possibly Exotic Armour sandbox changes.
Both “Warmind” and the winter update will be classified as Destiny 2 Season 3, with Season 4 starting up in September.
Free versus paid content
Bungie also detailed the content that will be free as compared to locked behind the expansion’s paywall.
Free content includes the game tweaks and updates, seasonal events, Crucible matchmaking maps, endgame activities, seasonal reputation rewards, Iron Banner and Faction Rally.
The paid content includes “Warmind” and its campaign and new location, new location rewards, a new Raid Lair, the use of the new Crucible maps in private matches and new Legendary and Exotic gear.
Bungie will detail “Warmind” in a special Twitch livestream to take place on 25 April.
Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
