Destiny 2 Revelry event celebrates spring, starts next week

A new Destiny 2 event, The Revelry, will begin next week, developer Bungie has confirmed.

“The Revelry is a new event available to all Destiny 2 players that celebrates the joy of Spring,” Bungie said in a new update. “The Tower is overflowing with colorful arrangements, and Eva Levante has a new activity for you to enjoy with new rewards to claim. But that’s just the beginning—the celebration spans across the solar system, offering ways for your character to feel more powerful in every activity Destiny 2 has to offer.”

In The Revelry, players will take to the Verdant Forest — a new take on the Festival of the Lost’s Haunted Forest — on the quest for Reveler’s Tonic. Said tonic will buff Guardian’s melee, grenade or special abilities (it’s your choice) in Destiny 2‘s various modes, including the Crucible. Inaugural Revelry and Vernal Growth armor sets will be added to the game as well, offering more chances to personalise your Guardian.

Eva Levante will return to the Tower for the event — if Guardians complete enough Bounties, Triumphs and turn in enough Reveler’s Tonic, they’ll earn a new Exotic Kinetic Fusion Rifle called Arbalest.

The Revelry kicks off on 16 April and runs until 7 May. You can check the event out in action below.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
