Destiny 2 players will take down the Almighty overnight

Destiny 2 players will take down the menace of the Almighty overnight from 3.00 am AEST on 7 June here in Australia.

At the start of this season, Season of the Worthy, Guardians were told that the Red Legion had set a giant planet-destroying spaceship (the aforementioned Almighty) on a collison course with the Tower — and, you know, Earth itself. All season has been about trying to buff the Warmind Raputin to a point where it could combat the ship. It looks like that time is upon us.

We’re not sure what to expect from 3.00 am AEST, but there will likely be a cutscene if not a new mission to undertake. We’ll update you tomorrow morning after we wake up.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia where available. News of the game’s next season drops on 10 June.
