Destiny 2 Pinnacle hotfix will change your race for Power

Destiny 2 Pinnacle hotfix is on the way and will change the way in which Guardians chase Power in-game.

The hotfix will increase Power granted by Pinnacle reward drops to +2 instead of just +1, while Guardians will need only four slots to increase their average Power.

“Our intent was to provide an aspirational progression that reflects participation in some of the more difficult and time-limited content of Destiny 2,” developer Bungie said in an update speaking of the new system introduced with Shadowkeep. “This was meant to be a slower progression than the powerful reward band, but one that wasn’t a gateway to accessing content.”

The changes will essentially make it easier to level up your Guardian, in short.

“As this change is currently planned for next Thursday, players should wait to earn their pinnacle rewards until this hotfix is available so they can take advantage of the +2 change,” Bungie also advised.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
