Destiny 2 offline again after new inventory-glitching bug

Destiny 2 is once again offline after another bug that appears to be removing items from in-game inventories.

This time around, users are reporting that items like Raid Banners, Legendary Shards, Upgrade Modules, Enhancement Prisms, Ascendant Shards and Glimmer are being lost. The issue mirrors a similar event at the end of January that caused players to lose Glimmer.

“Destiny 2 is being brought offline for emergency maintenance. Stand by for updates,” Bungie has advised. A timeframe for this fix is unknown, but if it mirrors the last time this happened, the developer will merely roll the game back to a state before the weekly reset. This means any progression made by players since reset will likely be lost.

We’ll let you know when Destiny 2 goes back online. The game is usually available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia.

Update: Bad news, fam.
