Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2021 starts next week

Are you ready, Titans?

The Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2021 event will kick off next week and run through into May 2021.

Titans are once again hoping to crush their colleagues in the event, one that sets the game’s three classes against one another.

Starting up in Australia on 21 April, the event will run through until 12 May. Participant of the winning class will be eligible for a number of rewards including the Heir Apparent Exotic Machine Gun, the Heir Apparent’s Catalyst, an Exotic Sparrow, a handful of Legendary class items, two shaders and two emblems.

“The Vanguard has secured a ceasefire with the Cabal Empress Caiatl and humanity enjoys a brief moment of respite. Eager to celebrate Guardians and lift spirits, Zavala sounds the call to competition and the class banners are raised around the Tower. The Guardian Games have returned and glory awaits,” developer Bungie said of the event.

“Titans dominated the last Guardian Games. Ever since, Hunters and Warlocks have been preparing for the annual challenge of skill, bravery, and resolve. Earn medals from Eva Levante by completing Contender Cards and Triumphs. Each week is a new chance to be recognized as the top class in the Games.”

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia. It’s also on Xbox Game Pass.
