Destiny 2 Forsaken third Seed of Light now available (outside the Raid)

Destiny 2 Forsaken now offers Guardians the chance to earn a third Seed of Light for each character, finally making it possible to earn and use each of the expansion’s new subclass powers.

To get the third Seed of Light, you’ll need to complete the Gateway between worlds bounty accessible through Petra Venj. The bounty costs 40 Dark Fragments to activate.

Much like the second Seed of Light, you’ll need to complete rounds of the Blind Well, a special activity within The Dreaming City. Grab some friends (or join some randoms) and blast away. If you need help with the Blind Well, we’ve got tips and tricks here.

Once you’ve brought your progress bar to 100%, you’ll be given an offering for the Oracle Engine. Offer the — erm, offering — to the Oracle and benefit from an audience with the Queen of the Reed, Mara Sov. Her Highness will give you a chest with that third Seed of Light you seek.

Previously, those looking for a third Seed of Light would have to successfully complete the Kalli encounter within the game’s Raid, Last Wish. Thankfully, that’s no longer the only way to power up your Guardian.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. In addition to the new seed of light, its weekly reset has offered a new dungeon, the chance to grab the Exotic hand cannon Malfeasance and the Exotic bow Wish Ender.
