Destiny 2 Forsaken powerful engram availability has changed

Destiny 2 Forsaken powerful engrams are now obtained in a different way, and Bungie has recently detailed how it all works.

Challenges are now sorted into Daily and Weekly ones; the latter reset at 10.00 am PDT each Tuesday (or 3.00 am AEST on Wednesday here in Australia). Daily Challenges, on the other hand, are a little harder to pin down.

Essentially, each type of Daily will rotate on a four-day cycle, giving you a chance to complete what’s being asked of you. The Dailies have all launched on different days, meaning you’ll have different reset days for them. Here’s Bungie detailing a couple examples:

  • The first daily strike challenge was offered on Tuesday, September 4. So, the next daily strike challenge will arrive with a reset on Saturday, September 8.
  • The first daily Gambit challenge was offered on Wednesday, September 5. So, the next daily Gambit challenge will arrive with a reset on Sunday, September 9.

If you don’t complete a Daily, there’s no rollover on your progress — it’s back to square one with the next.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is out now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
