Destiny 2 Dawning 2018 event starts next week

Destiny 2‘s holiday-themed Dawning 2018 event starts up next week, and Bungie has detailed what to expect.

First, fan favourite Eva Levante — who Bungie notes, “was instrumental in bringing the traditions of the Dawning to the Tower” — comes back to the Tower for the event.

“Eva’s fond memories of the heroes who share her home—and the friends she’s made in her many years there—spurred her to write down some of her favorite recipes, and recall stories of Dawnings past. This year, she’ll share them with some of her favorite Guardians, and help bring the spirit of togetherness back to the Tower,” Bungie added.

You’ll be baking with Eva — no really — and your efforts will award you Enhancement Cores, Mods, Legendary Gear, the Avalanche Heavy Machinegun (featuring random rolls) and a crazy festive Sparrow (shown above). Neat, eh?

In Australia, Guardians can take part in The Dawning 2018 between 3.00 am AEDT on Wednesday, 12 December until 2.59 am AEDT on Wednesday, 2 January.

Destiny 2 is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
