Destiny 2 White Supremacist symbol armor will be removed

Destiny 2 developer Bungie has pledged to remove a piece of armour that closely resembles a White Supremacist symbol.

The game’s “Road Complex AA1”, a Hunter Gauntlet, has markings on the arm that are similar to the Kekistan flag, a symbol popular with the alt-right.

Bungie took to Twitter to address the situation.

Fans have taken to social media, divided on the use of the symbol itself. Regardless of opinion, most are asking that the symbol be removed from the armor, but the armor itself remain.

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One and PS4. It heads to Windows PC next month.
