Destiny 2 Annual Pass bundles three pieces of content

Update: We’ve added Australian pricing to this post.

Original story: Destiny 2 will soon offer an Annual Pass, providing access to three big content drops.

Revealed by developer Bungie during a livestream earlier today, the Annual Pass will bundle three “premium content releases” as follows:

  • Black Armory: Australian summer 2018
  • Joker’s Wild: Australian autumn 2019
  • Penumbra: Australian winter 2019

While the content updates weren’t fully detailed, they’ll bring new endgame challenges, weapons, armour and cosmetic items.

“We’re leaning harder into the things that keep you coming back to the game week over week, month over month,” Community Manager David ‘DeeJ’ Dague said during the livestream.

“These releases are a new way for us to deliver content,” he added, stressing that the Annual Pass has “reinvented the way we sustain the hobby.”

The Annual Pass has been priced at $35.00 USD (or $49.95 AUD) on its own, or bundled together with Destiny 2‘s Forsaken expansion for $70.00 USD (or $99.95 AUD).

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. The Forsaken expansion drops on 4 September.
