Delores A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure free on Steam

Delores A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure is now free on Steam to help players stay at home in the midst of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The offering “started out as a prototype for Ron Gilbert’s new point-and-click adventure game engine and grew into a fun little game,” its Steam page states. “It is not a sequel to Thimbleweed Park and is probably missing all of the small bells and whistles that would make it a commercially viable game.”

The title — honestly, a demo of sorts — uses “exclusively ‘found art’ from Thimbleweed Park to create all new puzzles,” and has been released “as something you can have fun with in these odd times.”

If you do like the short point-and-click adventure, Thimbleweed Park itself is available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
