Deathloop is a first-person action game from Arkane

Arkane today detailed its next game, Deathloop, at the Bethesda E3 2019 press conference.

Described by the studio as “something innovated, stylish, different than anything [we’ve] done before,” the game’s trailer seems to back up all those claims.

Deathloop transports players to the lawless island of Blackreef in an eternal struggle between two extraordinary assassins,” Bethesda and Arkane said of the title.

“Explore stunning environments and meticulously designed levels in an immersive gameplay experience that lets you approach every situation any way you like. Hunt down targets all over the island in an effort to put an end to the cycle once and for all, and remember, if at first you don’t succeed… die, die again.”

Geoff Keighley reports that Deathloop may be a timed exclusive for PS5; we’re looking into it.

We’ll have more on Deathloop as it’s made available. It’s assume the game will be available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
