Deadly Premonition 2 PC release now avaliable

Don't have a Switch? No problem!

Update: Deadly Premonition 2 PC release is now available on Windows PC via Steam, Rising Star Games has today confirmed.

The title is already available on Nintendo Switch and was announced for PC way back in April 2021.

Original story [8 April 2021]: A Deadly Premonition 2 PC release will be available later in 2021, publisher Rising Star Games has confirmed.

The confirmation has come by way of the publisher’s 2020 annual report (via Gematsu), which states that a Steam release is set for 2021.

The title was originally released to Nintendo Switch back in July 2020, and was immediately met with criticism over its portrayal of a transgender character. Creator SWERY apologised for the representation of the character and has since released a patch to correct the issue.

Deadly Premonition was also criticised for its poor framerate, another issue that’s since been corrected (and likely won’t be present in its PC port).

We’ll let you know when you can expect Deadly Premonition 2 on PC.
