Dead Rising remaster coming 19 September 2024

Frank's back.

The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has been announced by Capcom, and planned for a 19 September 2024 release.

Announced out of nowhere — and just days after most of Summer Game Fest has come and gone — you can check out a teaser trailer for the project below.

The remaster will leverage Capcom’s RE Engine — the same used for recent titles Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4. Fitting, really, as they all have zombies in one way or another.

The remaster will support 4K, 60 frames-per-second gameplay and “dialogues voiced in 9 languages”. 3D audio will also be supported, alongside remastered background music and sound effects.

The original Dead Rising was first released on to Xbox 360 back in 2006; it’s since made appearances on Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Expect the Dead Rising remaster from 19 September 2024 on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
