Dead by Daylight Stranger Things map dropped, Hellraiser teased

And Hellraiser and Pinhead could be coming this week!

Dead by Daylight will drop its Stranger Things map later this year, but never fear: it’s also teasing new content for its 21st Chapter. While some fans believe the new content will revolve around Five Nights at Freddy’s, more still believe we’ll be getting Hellraiser-themed content.

First, Stranger Things. Developer Behaviour Interactive recently confirmed that the Stranger Things content — including Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington and the Demogorgon alongside side skins, additional outfits and the Hawkins National Laboratory Underground Complex map — will be removed from purchase from 18 November here in Australia. Anyone who has already purchased the content will continue to be able to use the characters in-game, but the Hawkins map will be permenently moved from rotation on that date.

All Stranger Things content is up to 60% off from now until the contents’ removal, Behaviour also added.

Next, Behaviour has started to tease Chapter 21, taking to Twitter posting letters that spell RAISE and placing the letters HELL into an audio file on Discord. While some believe the teases to be for FNaF and killer Springtrap, it’s far more likely that we’re getting Hellraiser content with a Pinhead killer. A new teaser video that’s strikingly similar to content seen in the original 1987 Hellraiser only serves to back this theory up. The video is below.

Some rumours suggest we’re getting the Hellraiser chapter as early as 1.00 am AEST tomorrow, 18 August. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch; it’s also available through Xbox Game Pass.
