And it's coming later this month.
Dead by Daylight Stranger Things Chapter 2 will add a host of the popular Netflix’s shows characters at the end of the month, including Vecna, Eleven, Dustin, Robin, and Eddie.
Vecna, one of the biggest bads of Stranger Things, will obviously serve as the DLC’s new killer, while survivors come in the form of Eleven and Dustin. True to form, Robin and Eddie are available as legendary outfits for Eleven and Dustin, respectively, so you can play as whomever you’d like. These new characters join those from Chapter 1: The Demogorgon, Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, and Jonathan Byers.
“[Vecna, or Henry] Creel can bend the world around him, manifesting the physical presence of the Upside Down and using it offensively. Entrap lesser beings in a mass of vines, drawing them deeper into your cursed web,” Behaviour Interactive said of its upcoming killer.
“His control over the Upside Down also grants him terrifying mobility, along with the ability to emerge from the ground and strike all within his path. Those affected by the Upside Down’s touch are subjected to his curse, becoming far more vulnerable to his Power,” Behaviour continued.
“Those afflicted by his curse will find themselves questioning the nature of reality. Is that grandfather clock truly there, and why does its presence bring such misfortune? It is during these fateful moments that Vecna is at his most dangerous, trading a touch of speed for the ability to inflict direct damage.”
Expect the new chapter from 27 January; the content is already available on the PC’s PTB server.
Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Switch. Stranger Things Season 5, the show’s final season, is currently available to Stream on Netflix.
