DC Titans gets its first (dark, gritty) live-action trailer

DC today released the first live-action trailer for its upcoming Titans TV show.

The trailer, released as part of the San Diego Comic Con, is heavy on Robin (Brenton Thwaites) and Raven (Teagan Croft). It also provides quick looks at Beast Boy, Starfire and Dove.

Check the new trailer out below:

What do you make of the trailer? Compared to the Titans comic series, it seems heavy on the dark and gritty. We also can’t ever remember a time Dick Grayson said, “Fuck Batman.”

Does this trailer make you excited for Titans? Why or why not?

Titans is exclusive to DC’s streaming service, DC Universe. It launches later this year; we’ll report back on Australian availability as its known.
