Daymare 1994 Sandcastle demo coming next week

As part of the Steam Next Fest.

A Daymare 1994 Sandcastle demo will be made available on Windows PC via Steam as part of Steam Next Fest over 21-28 February.

The news comes as publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Invader Studios released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming title.

“After months of silence and a lot of work, and thanks to the support of Leonardo Interactive, we are happy to finally be able to dare a taste of our new title,” Invader Studios said in a statement.

“With Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle we want to evolve what we presented with Daymare: 1998 and make action-horror lovers live a completely new experience… but with a nostalgic 90’s flavour, as we like to say!”

The original Daymare 1998 began life as a Resident Evil 2 fan-remake before a request for cancellation from Capcom. This sequel stars Dalila Reyes, an ex-spy who works for H.A.D.E.S. (the Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search).

Daymare 1994 Sandcastle is currently scheduled for a 2022 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
