Darwin Project goes free-to-play on PC, likely on Xbox One

Darwin Project will become free-to-play on PC and later on Xbox One, developer Scavengers Studio confirmed.

The PC version of the battle royale title moved to the free-to-play model on 20 April, with Scavenger Studio telling IGN that it will “have more to share about Darwin Project on Xbox One soon.”

The title was priced at $22.45 AUD on both PC and Xbox One here in Australia… and remains at that price on console for the time being.

Darwin Project was announced at last year’s PAX East and went into early access on both PC and Xbox One early last month.
