Darksiders 3 heading to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2018

Darksiders 3 has been confirmed, letting players control Fury in 2018, THQ Nordic today announced.

“As promised, we have taken our time to ensure that this next Darksiders will be everything action-adventure gamers and especially Darksiders loyalists could dream of and more,” said Lars Wingefors, Co-Founder and Group CEO, THQ Nordic AB.

Darksiders 3 is currently in development on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, in collaboration with Gunfire Games. THQ Nordic says that developer is “largely comprised of the original creators of the Darksiders franchise”.

“The Gunfire team brings an intimate involvement with every aspect of the Darksiders franchise since its inception,” said Reinhard Pollice, Director of Business and Product Development, THQ Nordic. “There is simply no team better qualified to create Darksiders 3.”

The character of Fury will pick things up around the same time the events of Darksiders 2 took place. You can check out how badass Fury is in the game’s announcement trailer, below.
