Cyberpunk 2077 playable from beginning to end right now

Cyberpunk 2077 is playable from beginning to end right now, but that doesn’t mean the game will be released any time soon, developer CD Projekt Red has said.

Speaking with Engadget, Producer Richard Borzymowski confirmed that the game is fully playable, but it doesn’t have complete assets. Moreover, CD Projekt Red hasn’t finished bug testing (and fixing) the game.

Still, it’s comforting to know that developing is coming along, eh?

CD Projekt Red used Gamescom to release new in-game screenshots alongside concept imagery; the latter had a nifty little secret bit.ly URL that made a Transformer-themed joke. Or more, really — we don’t exactly know yet.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the talk of the town; expect Stevivor’s thoughts on the title soon.
