Cyberpunk 2077 mod adds male V romance of Judy

Queer no more.

Cyberpunk 2077 mod has unlocked in-game content that allows a male V character the chance to romance Judy, despite developer CD Projekt Red saying the situation isn’t one of cut material.

The mod — a simple bit of code change possible within the game’s PC version — will allow for players with a male version of V to engage in a once female-only romance of Judy. All dialogue spoken by the male version of V has been recorded by the character’s original voice actor.

Speaking with Eurogamer, CD Projekt Red said the dialogue wasn’t cut, but recorded “so we could avoid missing something by mistake that would require future recordings.”

“This was done with pretty much everything just to be on the safe side although it can vary between the different languages,” a representative continued. “Judy was always only a female V romance partner and that was the artistic vision from the start, there was no male romance option cut from the game.”

With that in mind, we’re hoping someone hunts down male-to-male romance options for the delectable River Ward.

A not-safe-for-work video showing off the romance — alongside how to pull it off — is below.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s backwards compatible on Xbox Series S & X and PS5.
