Cyberpunk 2077 delayed again to November 2020

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed yet again, this time until 19 November from its last date of 17 September.

“At the time we are writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise. The quests, the cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer — it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs,” CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Iwinski wrote on Twitter.

“We are eager (and quite stressed) to hear [journalist’s] opinions, as well as see your reactions when they publish their previews right after we air Night City Wire on the [26th of the June in Australia],” the statement continues.

Stevivor has been booked into one of these preview sessions so expect our thoughts next week.

Cyberpunk 2077 now heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 19 November. A Stadia release will follow where available in 2020; a next-gen release on Xbox Series X and PS5 is planned for 2021.
