Crytek’s Warface to add limited time battle royale mode

Crytek’s Warface is jumping on board the battle royale train, soon to join the likes of PUBG and Fortnite: Battle Royale.

In a recent blog post, Crytek detailed new, “experimental” additions soon to come to Warface: a large, player versus player (PvP) map that continually shrinks as combatants fight to be the sole survivor. Sound familiar?

The additions will be added to the game for a limited time, Crytek detailed, and take place on a desert-themed map. New achievements will also be up for grabs thanks to the update.

A release date wasn’t mentioned, but Crytek advised that players shouldn’t “miss the grandest battle of 2017.”

Warface is available on Windows PC.
