Crytek employees allege they’re not being paid (again)

Crytek employees are taking to social media to allege that they’ve not been paid in over a month.

The allegations were first presented on Twitter before heading over to Reddit, Glassdoor and Imgur.

“Salaries not arriving on time since last 6 months with no heads-up from the management nor the owners,” one employee has posted over Glassdoor. “Every time is the ‘last time.’ No apologies or explanations were offered.”

“The founding brothers, [Avni, Cevat and Faruk Yerli] finally decided to address this issue on a company meeting, but dodged all the specific questions and promised that ‘the situation’ is now resolved once and for all,” the complaint continues.

“Money for October will not be paid until sometime early December,” reads another.

“I’m not sure where else to turn at this point. This has happened in the past a few times, but never for this long. Management never gives anyone a heads up, and it isn’t clear to me if they are getting paid or even informed from the owners,” reads a final allegation of unpaid work that can be found on Imgur.

Crytek has yet to comment, though the developer has been under fire in the past for unpaid or late wages. We’ll keep you posted.
