Cronos The New Dawn celebrates 500,000 copies sold with new Steam bundles

Including Dead Space, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and more!

Cronos The New Dawn will celebrate 500,000 copies sold across all platforms with sales bundles over on Windows PC via Steam.

The bundles will couple Bloober Team’s new survival horror title with classics across the genre, including Dead Space, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, Still Wakes the Deep, and more.

Here are all the bundles on, or about to be, offered:

  • Cronos: The New Dawn + Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon bundle: Available now ($138.50 AUD)
  • Cronos The New Dawn + Still Wakes the Deep bundle: Available now ($118.07 AUD)
  • Cronos The New Dawn + A.I.L.A bundle: Available now ($110.79)
  • Cronos The New Dawn + The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes bundle: “Coming soon”
  • Cronos The New Dawn + Dead Space bundle: Available 28 November

“We are extremely proud of this achievement,” said Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team. “Cronos is a new IP, and every new brand comes with risks. We often say that this title isn’t for everyone, which makes it even more gratifying to see it reach such a wide audience — proving that survival horror still captures players’ interest.

“It is an ambitious project and a huge learning experience for our studio, both in terms of designing mechanics and refining the combat system. It represents a natural step in our growth,” Babieno continued. “Strategically, we have always believed that each new title brings us closer to mastering the art of horror, while also being bigger and more ambitious — and in this case, we have successfully taken another important step on that path.”

We gave Cronos The New Dawn a respectable 7.5/10 review at its launch.

“Slow to start, Cronos The New Dawn is difficult to get sucked into during its first third; growing to like it is a very slow process. But, when it all comes together in somewhat of a crescendo spanning the final three hours of the campaign, the slow burn makes much more sense,” Jay wrote at the time. “Describing it as scary wouldn’t be accurate, but it’s definitely creepy and uncomfortable throughout.”

Expect Chronos The New Dawn from 5 September on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2.
