Of course Halo Infinite is still coming to Xbox One, says 343

343 Industries today debunked a rumour that suggested Halo Infinite wouldn’t be released on Xbox One.

“We’re seeing lots of fake ‘leaks’ out there, so please don’t believe everything you read,” 343’s John Junyszek wrote to pro player Eric ‘Snip3down’ Wrona who suggested Halo Infinite would be pushed back to 2022.

“There are no plans to change our 2021 release or the devices and platforms we’ll be supporting. We’re building Halo Infinite to be the best it can be on each device/platform.”

In addition to the 2022 rumour, another suggested development on Xbox One S was so difficult that 343 was scapping a current-gen release of Halo Infinite altogether.

Halo Infinite is still planned for a release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X sometime in 2021.
