Control’s Alan Wake expansion will release simultaneously on all platforms

Control‘s Alan Wake expansion, AWE, will release simultaneously across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, Remedy Games has confirmed.

“AWE expansion (2) will launch simultaneously on all platforms in late summer [mid-2020],” Remedy told Stevivor.

The confirmation comes after news that Control‘s upcoming expansion, The Foundation, will stagger its release across Windows PC & PS4, then Xbox One. The expansion’s PC, PS4 release comes later this month on 26 March, while the Xbox One release will follow on 25 June. All platforms will receive an update in March that improves map readability, the Shield Rush ability and more.

Control is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
