Control release window confirmed for the Australian winter

The release window for Control, the upcoming action-adventure shooter from Remedy, has been confirmed for the Australian winter.

The news comes from an in-depth look at the game conducted by GameInformer, though a specific release date has yet to be confirmed. The Aussie winter corresponds to the North American summer season, so we should look forward to the game around June or July.

Remedy told the mag that it has beefed up its physics system and introduced new motion animations into the mix to “get rid of some of the jankiness” that players experienced inside Quantum Break on Xbox One and Windows PC.

Expect Control in the Australian winter on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It was recently confirmed the game will feature DLC, but not microtransactions or multiplayer.
