Company of Heroes 2’s open beta starts today; features “more than tanks”

Sega today sent through details of Company of Heroes 2‘s open beta alongside a new trailer, titled “More than tanks.”

The open beta will let you play on six of Company of Heroes 2‘s maps, progressing through 45 levels of experience. Best yet, if you purchase the full game on Steam within 60 days, you’ll be able to keep your beta level for use in the full version of the release.

Here’s the “More than tanks” trailer to give you an idea of what to expect.

Is it just us, or is the trailer’s title a not-so-subtle dig at Wargaming’s World of Tanks?

Company of Heroes 2‘s open beta can be downloaded through Steam right now. It runs until 18 June.

Company of Heroes 2 will be available for PC on 25 June. Stevivor will be checking it out at E3, so expect impressions soon!
