Commander Keen back as a free-to-play mobile game

Commander Keen makes his triumphant return… as a cartoon-like, free-to-play mobile game developed by Zenimax Online.

The game was today confirmed for both iOS and Android at Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference.

Protagonists Billy and Billie are the children of the original Commander Keen, Bethesda confirmed.

“Play as Billy and his twin sister Billie as they race to save the galaxy with their zany collection of gadgets and a whole lot of attitude,” Bethesda said of the title. “Dadmiral Keen has been kidnapped, and only twin geniuses Billie and Billy can save him!

“Utilize a zany collection of gadgets that blast, bounce, and baffle your enemies in the solo Story Mode, or go helmet-to-helmet against your fellow commanders in Battle Mode. It’s time to kick some asteroid.”

Commander Keen will be made available as part of a soft launch on iOS and Android later this year.
