Code Vein 2 Character Creator Demo comes one week before full launch

Try before you buy.

Code Vein 2 Character Creator Demo will be available a full week ahead of the title’s actual launch, letting players try before they buy.

The demo, available from 23 January will let players create a character (obviously), explore the MagMell Institute, relax in the Hot Spring, and play around in photo mode. Characters created in the demo can be brought into the full game proper when it launches on 30 January.

Alongside this news, Bandai Namco released a new walkthrough trailer for the game, shown below.

“This video takes them 100 years into the past, where they join Josée on her mission to cleanse the polluted waters of Sunken City and uncover the truth behind its crisis. Haunted by guilt over past mistakes, Josée’s story reveals the heavy burden she carries, and the epic battles that await,” Bandai Namco said in a press release.

“The walkthrough introduces Sunken Pylon, a vast area that holds the key to purifying Sunken City. As they explore, players will experience combat across seven distinct weapon types, ranging from the agile new dual blades to the devastating power of the halberd.”

Expect Code Vein 2 from 30 January on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
