CoD Modern Warfare 3 beta dates detailed by Activision Blizzard

Here's when you can expect to jump in.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 open beta dates were today detailed by Activison Blizzard as part of Gamescom 2023.

Here’s when you can expect to play, on what:

PlayStation exclusive beta

A first beta will be open to players on PS4 and PS5 between 7-10 October (Australian times).

The first two days of the beta (7-8 October) are reserved for those who’ve pre-ordered the game. Following that, it’s an open beta — so everyone will be able to jump in, regardless of pre-order status.

Cross-play beta

A second beta will take place on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 between 13-16 October (Australian times). Cross-play between platforms will be enabled.

For the first two days (13-14 October), access is limited to pre-orders. After that, no pre-orders are required for the remainder of the beta.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is planned for a 10 November release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PS5. Pre-orders will get one week of early access to its campaign.
