COD Modern Warfare 2 backwards compatible on Xbox One

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now backwards compatible on Xbox One.

Announced by Microsoft earlier in the week, Modern Warfare 2 is one of the most requested Xbox 360 games to be included in the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. Looks like fans got their wish.

If you own a digital copy of Modern Warfare 2, or any other backwards compatible title, you’ll find it on Xbox One under the My Games & Apps section. If you’ve a disc-based copy of the game, simply insert it into your Xbox One to begin the download process.

Modern Warfare 2 can be purchased digitally for $29.96 AUD, provided you’re an Xbox Live Gold member. If not, the title is $39.95 AUD.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was first released in 2009 on Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
