CoD Black Ops 4 will be sold early by Aussie retailers

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be sold early by Aussie retailers JB Hi-F, The Gamesmen, Big W and EB Games Australia, it was today confirmed.

Via Press-Start, we’ve learned that both retailers plan to sell Black Ops 4 from 6.00pm AEDT on Thursday, 11 October, hours ahead of the game’s midnight launch early Friday morning. The move is likely because players will need to download a 50GB day one patch before playing.

Worse yet, Black Ops 4‘s servers don’t go online until 3.00pm AEDT on Friday, 12 October, so you won’t get much play out of the disc until then. At the very least, buying a physical copy may give you a headstart on the download as compared to other players, eh?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 12 October.
