Cities Skylines 2 promises a “next-generation city builder”

Yes, please.

Cities Skylines 2 was today announced by Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order, and has promised a “next-generation city builder” for fans of the genre.

“A modern take on the city building genre, Cities Skylines 2 lets players create and maintain cities that come to life like never before, complete with fully-realised transport and economy systems, a wealth of construction and customisation options, and advanced modding capabilities,” reads a press release.

“Cities Skylines 2 evolves the city-building genre further, letting players build the cities of their dreams with the most open-ended city-building sandbox on the planet.”

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the title.

Cities Skylines 2 is planned for a 2023 release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
