Chiefs Esports will represent Australia at IEM Sydney 2017

Australia will be represented by Chiefs Esports at IEM Sydney 2017 after a victory in Australian qualifiers last night.

The Chiefs took top place against 7 other top Oceanic teams, eventually besting Tainted Minds 2-0 last night. They, alongside Vici Gaming from the Chinese qualifier, will take on six other top international teams at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Sydney over 6-7 May at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.

A prize pool of $260,000 AUD is up for grabs at the CO:GO-centric event.
