CD Projekt Red: This is the year of The Witcher 3, not Cyberpunk 2077

Those of you excited about CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 will have to wait until 2016 to learn more about it.

Speaking with Reuters, CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kicinski asserted his company is focusing on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the remainder of the year.

That means CD Projekt Red is focusing on free and paid DLC alongside the game’s two announced expansions. Only then will it move onto Cyberpunk 2077.

“We hope and we are certain that Cyberpunk has even bigger commercial potential,” Kicinski said. “It is too early to talk about it, though. This year and the next one will be the years of The Witcher.”

We’re okay with that; we absolutely loved The Witcher 3 in our review.
