CD Projekt RED is considering The Witcher 4

CD Projekt RED is considering The Witcher 4, the developer said today in a recorded financial results video.

Admitting that their vision for The Witcher was simply a trilogy, CD Projekt RED then said it was thinking about the possibility of a fourth game.

The presentation was also used to update on the progress of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED’s next RPG. Three times the amount of staff are working on Cyberpunk 2077 than its standalone Gwent title — more than 300 developers at last count — with work on the game proving “very intense”. Cyberpunk 2077 is the largest development team CD Projekt RED has ever had.

The news comes as CD Projekt RED detailed a technical beta for Gwent on PS4; it begins on 31 March and runs until 9 April.
