Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker gets amiibo support in late March

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will receive an update with amiibo support on 20 March, Nintendo today announced.

The update brings a special hide-and-seek mode featuring an 8-bit Toad when the Toad amiibo is tapped to the Wii U NFC reader.

Other amiibos will offer 1-UP Mushrooms when tapped to the Wii U NFC reader.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is available now on Wii U.
