Capcom: We’ve IP that isn’t being used to its full potential

Capcom recently published a Q&A summary from its latest investor relations conference call, and it’s refreshingly honest.

“We also possess a vast library of content in which there remains multiple IP that have not yet been utilized to their full potential—these issues we will handle moving forward,” Capcom advised. “Moreover, we will endeavor for further profitability improvements and unit sales growth by releasing all titles finished to a high level of quality.”

The publisher cited Street Fighter V as an example of publishing a game before it truly was ready, and has vowed to put quality ahead of a strict release date.

What Capcom IP would you like to see used to its full potential? There a lot of great franchises out there, just waiting to reappear.
